The House
Studland Bay House is a grand, fully restored Edwardian house available for exclusive private house hire, set in one of the most exceptional locations in Dorset. Positioned above Studland Bay on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, the house enjoys uninterrupted views towards Old Harry Rocks and the sweeping coastline beyond. Licensed for civil ceremonies, it provides a truly memorable setting for weddings and celebrations, all within six acres of mature gardens with direct access onto Studland Beach, widely regarded as one of the finest beaches in Europe.
The Setting
Surrounded by a designated nature reserve, the area is rich in wildlife and coastal scenery. Studland itself stretches across three miles of golden sand, owned and carefully managed by the National Trust, while the Jurassic Coast offers miles of unspoilt shoreline to explore. A wide range of activities are available within walking distance, including kayaking, fishing, coasteering, horse riding, foraging experiences, beach saunas and seaweed spa treatments.

Luxury Stays
Studland Bay House can be booked for a week from Wednesday to Wednesday or for short breaks out of season.
As you approach the house, you will be enticed by its grandeur, period detail, stunning views across the bay towards Old Harry Rocks, and the private access to the beach from the 6 acres of mature garden, including our own private cricket pitch.
The reception rooms at Studland Bay House are spacious, elegant and beautifully appointed – the perfect setting for relaxation and entertaining.
There are 9 double bedrooms over two floors; the house’s reception rooms and kitchen comfortably accommodate parties of 12 to 16 people.
On arrival, our House Manager, Lynn or a member of her team will greet you with a traditional Dorset Cream Tea and a warm welcome. You’ll be shown around the house and have any questions answered. Should there be a problem, a member of staff is on hand 24/7.
In the kitchen, you will find a complimentary Dorset hamper, filled with a selection of local treats to begin your stay in true coastal style.
A breakfast box is provided. There is a gas BBQ outside. Further meals can be catered for by our in-house chef and his team by prior arrangement.
Bathrooms are cleaned during your stay, and additional linen can be provided by prior arrangement mid-stay if required at an additional cost.
Studland Bay House has its own private cricket pitch and delightful pavilion. It’s available for our guests to enjoy as long as our local Studland Cricket team doesn’t have a fixture.
There is also an option for a fully serviced luxury hotel standard stay at Studland Bay House.
